Maria trainingThe training venue for Channel Research’s many training events in Belgium ‘Orshof’ is ideal for learning and reflection located in the Belgian province of ‘Limburg’, an hour’s drive Northeast of Brussels. The retreat center is surrounded by a picturesque vista, ideal for walks, a run, and rents out bicycles for those audacious enough to venture further.  Kind staff members are at your service, touting an exquisite French-Belgian kitchen and local pastries during the occasional welcome break from cerebral exercise.

The idea behind the remote location is to afford room for reflection and learning. Collecting participants from different organizational and national backgrounds together, enables one to learn from peers as well as reinforcing one’s networks. The best possible learning environment should strive for a balance between physical comforts and a remoteness from the daily grind that often impedes creative thinking and a fresh look at old problems.

Cost

The training fee for most of our trainings is a package price per person including the cost of the:

  • training
  • training materials
  • training facilities and refreshments during breaks
  • accommodation in single room
  • all meals during the training
  • Local transport to and from training venue (when in Belgium)

Logistics

Local transport to and from the training venue is included in the training fee for the trainings in Belgium, as the venue is not accessible by public transport and with group transportation, our local transportation company can offer us the best price.

As many of our participants for our annual trainings in Belgium are coming from outside Belgium to attend the training, we ask them to arrive the evening before the first day of the training at a welcome dinner, which ensures us that all have arrived and are ready for the start of the training the following morning.
