Inhouse training provided for organizations
In terms of knowledge and capacity, Channel Research is experienced with the development of inhouse trainings for organizations and can offer trainings specifically tailored for the needs of your organization.
This service is also expanding to corporate clients concerning inhouse trainings on responsible resilience.
Inhouse training modules held in 2009 were:
- Training for UNHCR on Emergency Management for Emergency Response Teams. These courses were facilitated by John Telford and took place in various UNHCR offices around the world.
- Internal learning process for Johanniter Unfallhilfe (German leading emergency aid organization). To improve its Rapid Deployment Mechanisms, the organisation has initiated a participatory learning process facilitated by Ralf Otto.
- Training Module in Monitoring and Evaluation. (Design and implementation of a training module in M&E) for University of Bochum (Noha-Network of Humanitarian Assistance) facilitated by Ralf Otto.
- NGO Health Cluster Co-ordinator Training through IMC (International Medical Corps) for the Health Cluster, facilitated by Bobby Lambert (with Tim Foster).
Inhouse training modules held in 2008 were:
- Health Cluster Co-ordinator Training through Merlin for the Health Cluster, facilitated by Bobby Lambert (with Tim Foster).
- Training for UNHCR on Emergency Management for Emergency Response Teams. These courses were facilitated by John Telford and took place in various UNHCR offices around the world and continue in 2009.
- Tri-Cluster Co-ordinator Training through RedR UK for the WASH, Nutrition and Health clusters facilitated by Bobby Lambert (with Emma Jowett).
- Border Action in Northern Ireland and facilitation of strategy, facilitated by Bobby Lambert (with Emery Brusset).
- Office for Transition Initiation (OTI) USAid. Review of options in Monitoring and Evaluation for stabilization operations, facilitated by Emery Brusset.
