Training Courses
Channel Research recognises the value of investing in our professional environment to ensure that we and our consultants are continuously identifying, reproducing and applying best practices when conducting assessments.
We have, therefore, made it one of our core objectives to nurture and develop the expertise of the professional community working within humanitarian and conflict-related assistance.
This is now expanding to include those working in corporate community relations. We aim to improve the exchange of lessons learnt from evaluations and the quality of global evaluation knowledge through workshops and training. Our trainings have also proved to gain as a valuable forum for experience and knowledge sharing.
Channel Research cooperates with other institutions such as Active Learning Network for Accountability and Performance in Humanitarian Action (ALNAP) and International Centre of Excellence for the study of Peace and Conflict (Incore) on our trainings in order to continuously develop further.
Previous participants include staff from UNHCR, OCHA, WFP, FAO, IOM, European Commision (DG ECHO), SIDA, Norad, DanChurchAid, ICRC, Oxfam, RedR, Red Cross, DARA as well as practitioners, core evaluators, independent consultants and government officials.
