European Commission framework agreements

The European Commission uses framework contracts to recruit expertise for projects and evaluations in countries benefiting from European Commission external aid. The objective is to provide short-term technical assistance which can be mobilised at very short notice (normally within 3 weeks, in exceptional cases within 48 hours). The duration of the individual assignments is between 10 days and 1 year.
