Conference in Bangkok for mining extracting companies

February 2010

Channel Research cooperates with another risk consultancy in running a workshop course for frontline personnel on community relations management, non-technical risk and reporting. We present our planning and indicator framework, and train personnel in cost efficient handling of tools for conflict prone environments.

We believe that reducing risk to society also reduces risk to the companies, creating an enabling environment for large industrial projects with long range life spans. This course is intended for corporate and NGOs engaged in local communities helping to get local relations right.

The conference is a one-two-day practical interactive course for international managers facilitated by Emery Brusset, Director of Channel Research and specialised in the design of methodologies for politically unstable environments and Chris Bruton, independent consultant specialised in international business for the mining extracting companies.

The training will be held in Bangkok, Thailand.
