Project or Programme Evaluation
Channel Research evaluates humanitarian and human rights programmes and projects for a broad range of clients, including: multinational organisations such as the UN, World Bank and the European Commission; governments such as those of Sweden, Finland, Denmark, UK, USA and France; national and international nongovernmental organisations including DanChurchAid (Denmark), Médecins Sans Frontières, Red Cross, Amnesty International‘s International Secretariat and Border Action (Northern Ireland).
In particular, we hold multiple framework contracts with the European Commission, DFID and Sida.
Our evaluations allow organisations to assess how well resources are being used and the effects and impact of an intervention on the surrounding populations.
We benefit from a broad network of high level international consultants with expertise in the fields of justice, security, good governance, water and sanitation, health, food security, shelters, IDPs and refugees, human rights, communication, gender, migration and conflicts, among others.
Channel Research predominately works in conflict or crisis prone environments, or in areas following natural disasters. We are at the cutting edge of ensuring conflict sensitivity in evaluations, making use of the conflict mapping tools that we have developed. Recent countries where we have worked include:
- Afghanistan
- Burundi
- Central America
- DR Congo

- India
