Environmental and Social Impact Assessment
Channel Research offers an innovative environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA) approach for its clients from the extractive industries. Compliant with local regulation for permitting and with IFC and ICMM guidelines, the ESIA proposed by Channel Research proposes studies as a dynamic process, part of the stakeholder engagement, and identifying key risks and opportunities, to be integrated into the company feasibility study.
In collaboration with environmental consulting company, Channel Research proposes specialized team that can be deployed on short notice and with knowledge of the local context and languages.
In parallel with the process of ESIA for permitting, Channel Research proposes to support management decisions through the establishment of clear risk matrices and intervention strategies (IFC compliant mitigation measures, community development plan, etc).
