Evaluation of Humanitarian Action with ALNAP (Active Learning Network for Accountability and Performance in Humanitarian Action)
28-30 May 2012, basic-to- intermediate level course
This course has the overall aim of making evaluations of humanitarian action more effective in contributing to the improved performance of interventions and to improve the quality of the evaluation process.
The participants in previous years have come from aid agencies (headquarters and field personnel), donor governments, consultancies and academia. The course is facilitated by Margie Buchanan Smith and John Cosgrave. It will be held at our training venue ‘Orshof’ near Brussels (www.orshof.be).
Training fee includes local transport from and to Brussels airport or Brussels Midi station and the training venue, training, materials, accommodation (single-room for 3 nights) and all meals at the training location for 3 days. The deadline for payment is 1 May 2011 and an early booking reduction of 100 € will be provided for those participants who pay the training fee before 20 April 2011. (There are 2 places available for independent consultants not sponsored by an organisation at a reduced training fee ).
Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Dates are 28 – 30 May, 2012. Arrival evening 22nd May 2012 for the welcome dinner.
